RNSA ítrekar fyrri tillögu sína frá 17. september 2014 til Samgöngustofu úr skýrslu vegna flugslyss á fisi TF-303, er varð þann 20. október 2012, um að „auknar kröfur verði gerðar um þekkingu og vinnubrögð þeirra sem vinna að samsetningu sem og viðhaldi fisa.“

Samgöngustofu hefur í samvinnu við Fisfélag Reykjavíkur hafið vinnu við endurskoðun á samþykktum handbókum fyrir fisfélögin auk þess sem ferli Samgöngustofu við samþykktir á handbókum er til endurskoðunar.

Rannsóknarnefnd samgönguslysa beinir því til Samgöngustofu (áður Flugmálastjórnar Íslands) að hún komi á framfæri leiðbeinandi upplýsingum til flugmanna um áhrif grasbrauta á afkastagetu flugvéla í flugtaki og lendingu.

Samgöngustofa hefur útbúið og gefið út á heimasíðu sinni upplýsingabækling og tilmæli um „Lendingar og flugtök á grasflötum“. Nálgast má efnið undir fræðsluefni fyrir einkaflugmenn á heimasíðu Samgöngustofu eða hér.
Bætt utanumhald þjálfunar

RNSA beinir því til fisfélagsins Sléttunnar að utanumhald um framgang þjálfunar flugnema verði bætt.

Fisfélagið Sléttan í samvinnu við fisfélag Reykjavíkur og Samgöngustofu hefur hafið vinnu við endurskoðun verklagshandbóka fisfélaga. Vonast er til að þetta klárist vorið 2016.

The Icelandic Transportation Safety Board (ITSB) recommends to Precision Conversions that it reviews the structural design of the main cargo door with respect to the 45 knots maximum wind operation loading and make the necessary design changes in order to meet the requirements of FAA FAR and EASA CS, subchapters 25.301(a) and 25.303.

The Icelandic Transportation Safety Board (ITSB) recommends to Technify Motors to issue a service letter to operators, advising of this incident and remind them never to loosen the belt pulley fastener in the crankshaft, due to its critical torque value.

Technify Motors added several notes to repair procedures (RM-02-02) during which the mechanic might have the idea to demount the pulley and informed all registered users regarding the new versions.
